This spell is for self-protection.  Use whenever you want to protect yourself from negative energies and/or negative actions from others.  

This Hex is not a substitute for taking basic steps to maintain your personal safety on a day-to-day basis.  You must maintain situational awareness whenever you are out and about.  Maintaining situational awareness means keeping your focus on your surroundings at all times whether you are commuting to work on public transportation, walking to your car in a parking lot or browsing stores in a shopping center.  Don't be distracted by your phone.  Pay attention to your surroundings.  If your intuition causes you to feel that something isn't quite right, respect that insight and exercise caution.  Your intuition is definitely trying to warn you that something is amiss.
